Understanding the one-time setup fee for your adventure
The setup fee is a one-time payment required before Think Neverland begins development of your adventure. It covers the initial project setup, architecture design, tooling configuration, and studio onboarding costs.
This fee is not a subscription or recurring charge — it is paid once, at the start of your adventure.
The setup fee amount is set by your Think Neverland studio contact based on the scope and complexity of your adventure. You will see the exact amount on your Adventure Dashboard before any payment is requested.
When a setup fee is assigned to your adventure, a banner will appear on your Adventure Dashboard with a Pay Now button. Clicking it opens a secure Stripe Checkout page where you can pay by credit or debit card.
You will receive an email receipt from Stripe upon successful payment. Your dashboard will update automatically to reflect the paid status.
In some cases, Think Neverland may waive the setup fee entirely. If your fee has been waived, no payment action is required and no banner will appear on your dashboard.
Setup fees are generally non-refundable once development has begun. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, contact your studio representative directly.
