Overview
Once your pitch is accepted, you’ll receive an email invitation to create a Think Neverland account and begin onboarding. The process has four steps:
- Welcome — Introduction to your Adventure
- Agreements — Review and sign required legal documents
- Profile — Set up your participant profile
- Connect — Get linked to your Adventure workspace
You must complete each step before moving to the next. The entire process typically takes 15–30 minutes.
Step 1: Welcome
After signing in for the first time, you’ll land on the Welcome page. This confirms:
- Your Adventure name
- A brief overview of the studio model
- What to expect during onboarding
Click Continue to proceed.
Step 2: Sign Agreements
This is the most important step. You’ll review and electronically sign five legal documents:
1. Operating Agreement
Establishes the relationship between you and Think Neverland LLC. Key points:
- Your Adventure is an internal operational designation — not a separate legal entity.
- Think Neverland retains 100% ownership of the product, code, data, and infrastructure.
- You are an independent contractor — not an employee, partner, or equity holder.
- You receive no equity, membership interest, or profit interest.
2. Revenue Share Agreement
Defines how you earn compensation for your sales efforts:
- You receive a percentage of Eligible Revenue from customers you bring in.
- Revenue share is compensation only — not ownership or profit sharing.
- Permitted deductions include payment processing fees, refunds, taxes, and hosting costs.
- Upon termination, revenue share continues for 60 days on existing subscriptions, then stops.
- You receive monthly summary statements.
3. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Protects confidential information shared during the Adventure:
- Covers business plans, source code, financial data, customer data, and internal documentation.
- Obligations survive for 3 years after termination.
- Standard exclusions apply (public information, prior knowledge, independent development).
4. IP Assignment Agreement
Ensures all work product belongs to the studio:
- All work created in connection with the Adventure is automatically assigned to Think Neverland LLC.
- Pre-existing IP you own remains yours, but if incorporated into work product, you grant a perpetual license.
- Independent inventions unrelated to studio business are carved out.
5. Code of Conduct & Acceptable Use Policy
Sets expectations for professional behavior:
- Act professionally and avoid misrepresentation.
- Protect confidential information.
- No harassment, unauthorized access, data misuse, or illegal activity.
Each document is displayed in full before signing. You sign by typing your full legal name and clicking Sign. Electronic signatures are legally binding under the E-SIGN Act and Ohio Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
All five documents must be signed before proceeding.
Step 3: Profile Setup
After signing, you’ll set up your participant profile:
- Display Name — How your name appears on the platform.
- Bio — A brief introduction (optional but recommended).
- Contact Info — Preferred email and phone for project communication.
Step 4: Connect
The final step connects you to your Adventure workspace on the Think Neverland platform. Once connected, you’ll have access to:
- Adventure Dashboard — Overview of your venture, milestones, and metrics.
- Milestone Tracking — Progress checkpoints and deliverables.
- Communication — Direct channel to the studio team.
After Onboarding
Once onboarding is complete, your Adventure is officially active. Here’s what to expect:
- The studio team begins product development on your behalf.
- You’ll receive regular updates on milestones and progress.
- Your primary role is sales and marketing — generating leads, promoting the product, and building customer relationships.
- Revenue share payments are calculated monthly based on attributed sales.
